More information Is it safe to shop online at Global Village, Kailua?
 
We have taken many precautions to insure that shopping with us is safe and secure. We use the industry-standard SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer) to ensure that all credit card transactions are secure. The SSL system encrypts information that you submit to us via our Web site when you place an order. Encryption makes it extremely difficult for anyone to intercept information about you, your order, or your credit card information. We do not sell or exchange any consumer’s information with any other company or organizations.

More information Can I make a purchase if I do not want to use my credit card online?
 
Yes. You can order by phone, or send your order through our secure fax or email. We will need your credit card number, verification code on the back of your card, and the postal/zip code for the billing address. Please also provide us with a shipping address (if different than billing address). We can not ship to a P.O. Box.
More information Do you send confirmation email?
 
Yes. Once your order has been placed, you will receive confirmation of your order by email.
More information What is your return policy?
 
Returns will be accepted within 14 days of delivery for online store credit or exchange only. We only allow credit and exchange with receipt and the item in its original intact packaging. All credited returns or exchanges must be in original, unused condition. Return shipping, payment for return shipping, and any subsequent damages from return shipping are the responsibility of the purchaser. Damage claims on shipped items must be made within 48 hours of package arrival time. Please be sure to inspect your merchandise immediately upon arrival. There are NO RETURNS nor CANCELLATIONS on: PRE-ORDERS, SPECIAL ORDERS, CUSTOM ORDERS, SALE ITEMS, DISCOUNTED CODE PURCHASES, and INTIMATE BODY PRODUCTS.  These items are considered FINAL SALE. We will not accept any returns without prior notice. To obtain return authorization from us, you should include the following information in the email:

Subject field: type RETURN with your Order number
In the body of the email, please include your Name, phone number, Postal/Zip code, and Reason for returning your item. 

Please be sure your package is fully insured and prepaid. Our credit is valid for two years from the date of issue. Thereafter, unused credit is forfeited.
More information What if the item that I ordered is not in stock?
 
We do our best to keep most items in stock. We try to keep our we site inventory current, however because we also run a retail location occasionally an item sold on this site may be out of stock.  If any portion of your order contains out of stock merchandise, Global Village will 1) notify you immediately via email which items are out of stock as well as the anticipated shipping date for each item; 2) back order the out of stock items and 3) ship the in stock portion of your order.   If you recieve an out of stock notification you may elect to either 1) await the backordered shipment; 2) cancel the back ordered items prior to shipment and receive a refund for cancelled items or 3) substitute back ordered items with in stock items.  Similarly, Global Village reserves the right to cancel orders for back ordered items and refund the purchase price.
More information What are your shipping and handling charges?
 

Our shipping and handling rates are flat rates based on the amount you have spent with Global Village.  We use the U.S. Postal Service as our shipper.

More information When will my order be shipped and how soon will it arrive?
 
In stock items will generally be shipped within 7 business days, unless you have select Express delivery.
More information What if my order arrives damaged?
 
Yes.  Please call us immediately at 808-262-8183 and we will process a claim and/or replacement. In the event of damage please hold onto all packing materials and the item until further notice. Global Village MUST be informed within 3 days of delivery of all damaged goods, or we cannot process a claim. Please inspect all deliveries thoroughly upon arrival.
More information Can I have my online order sent to a different location other than my billing address?
 
Yes, if you would provide us with an alternate shipping address which is within our shipping zone.
More information Will I be charged sales tax?
  

All orders shipped to addresses within the state of Hawaii will be charged 4.712% sales tax. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to addresses outside of Hawaii.  Out of state customers are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable sales tax in their home states

More informationDoes Global Village provide gift wrapping?
 

Yes! We love to do gift wrapping! Please specify that you would like a gift to be wrapped at the time you place your order. There is a box for special instructions provided. We will print your message on a card which will be included with the package.  $8.95 per package.

More information Can I purchase a gift certificate?
 
Gift Cards are not available for online use.  Gift Cards can be purchased as an item to be used at our physical store location in Kailua, Hawaii ONLY. 
More information What if I have a gift certificate from your physical store?
 
You will not be able to use the gift certificate through our online shopping cart. Please email us with your full name, phone number, gift certificate number, amount, and the items you wish to order. We will then process the order for you.
More information What if I have CREDITBACK loyalty card (customer appreciation discount card) from Global Village,, Kailua's physical store?
 
The CREDITBACK loyalty card is unable to be processed through our online shopping cart.  Please email us with your full name, phone number, creditback card number, amount, and the items you wish to order.  We will then process the order for you.
